spain

In the summer of 1998 I was invited to be an Artist in Residence at the Fundacion Valparaiso in Southeastern Spain. Wandering the region, I visually focused on the people, architecture, and the environmental fragments that wove together an amalgamated fabric of Arabian and European cultures. Undercurrents of the past would occasionally rise to the surface of current life to reveal an extensive strata of stories which seemed to echo from a place of mystery and magic.
There are 250 photographs in the Spanish Portfolio, printed on 11"x 14" Forte Elegance paper, and matted to 16"x 20".
