panama

In the spring of 1988, just a few months before the U.S. invasion, I traveled to Panama to photograph the people and small villages along the old Las Cruces Trail, for a publication sponsored by the National Institute for Exploration. I was especially drawn to the people and the blended traditions of West African, Meso American, and Spanish cultures. There are 100 photographs in this portfolio, printed on 11"x 14" Portriga Rapid paper, and matted to 16"x 20"
